This course helps frontline staff working with children and young people to understand the
complexities involved with child sexual exploitation, trafficking and modern slavery and to be
confidently aware of how to recognise it, we look at who is most at risk, why young people
respond in the way that they do and how children and young people are vulnerable to these
forms of abuse. The course also provides essential information on what constitutes best practice
for responding to concerns and making referrals to children’s social care and the Police.
