Course Spotlight: Honour Based Violence

This course is designed to provide learners with the tools to understand the range of skills needed to work with children and young people at risk or having experienced honour-based violence.

Learners will be enabled to:
• Develop and understanding of the background to honour based abuse 
• Identify honour based abuse in cases presented
• Manage and investigate incidents of honour based abuse 
• Identify and assess risk using a specialist risk assessment
• Understand law and policy and apply it
• Identify strategies to increase safety for victims

Anyone working with Children and Young People
